Who we are
OHHOUSE is a holiday home in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. This website and the bookings for OHHOUSE are run by EVER S.A., a Costa Rican company with cédula jurídica 3-101-768421, Calle Verano, Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. In this notice, “we” means that company.

In short
This website has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies. We do not sell or share your personal data. The only cookie it sets is the one that keeps a guest signed in to Your Stay.
Visiting the website
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is needed to deliver the website and protect it from attacks and abuse.
Fonts
The text on this website uses typefaces from Adobe Fonts, a service of Adobe Inc. To show them, your browser connects to Adobe’s servers, which receive your IP address. Adobe uses this to deliver the fonts and to count font use for licensing. Adobe Fonts does not set cookies. One more typeface, Inter Tight, is stored on our own website, so loading it involves no other company.
Your Stay, the guest guide
Your Stay is a private guide for guests with a booking. It opens with the PIN we send you in your booking messages.
- The PIN is checked on our server. It is not saved in your browser.
- If the PIN is right, we set one cookie,
oh_stay. It keeps you signed in for 14 days, contains no personal information, and is only used for Your Stay. It is strictly necessary for the guide to work. Changing the PIN signs everyone out. - To protect the sign-in from automated attacks, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks, usually without you noticing, that a person is signing in and not a bot. For this, Cloudflare processes information such as your IP address, details about your browser and device, and the address of this website. How Cloudflare uses this information is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Bookings and messages
Bookings are made on Airbnb. When you book, Airbnb shares with us the details we need to host you, such as your name and the dates of your stay. Airbnb’s own handling of your data is described in Airbnb’s privacy policy. If you write to us by email, we use your message and email address only to reply.
Links to other websites
This website links to Airbnb, Instagram and Google Maps. When you follow those links, those services’ own privacy policies apply.
Who else is involved
We work with a few service providers, who handle data only as needed for their service:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): hosting, security and Turnstile.
- Adobe Inc. (United States): fonts.
- HEY LOOK Studio (heylookdesign.com): design, management and maintenance of this website, on our behalf.
Because some of these providers are based outside Costa Rica, your information may be processed in other countries, including the United States.
How long we keep it
The Your Stay cookie lasts 14 days. Technical data processed by Cloudflare is kept according to Cloudflare’s policies. Emails are kept only as long as needed to answer you and to manage your stay.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what personal data we have about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to [email protected]. We will answer as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact Costa Rica’s data protection agency, the Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes (PRODHAB).

If the way this website handles data changes, for example if we add a new service, we will update this page first. The date at the top shows the latest version.
